Though the maker, Adam, of Old Georgia Pottery, in Bossier City, Louisiana, suggests hand-washing to prolong the life of these mugs, we have found that they hold up just fine with machine dishwashing (without heat drying), in spite of the fact that Matt carts his on all sorts of farm adventures.
