Ground Pork is a staple in our house. Useful for meatloaf, meat pies, chili, homemade sausage, meat sauces, stir-fry, and even pork burgers! Nothing added to it at all!
If you're taking care to control ingredients, it's easy to make your own pan sausage at home. Chop some fresh onion, garlic, and herbs (sage, basil, or oregano are great choices!), and saute these alongside the raw meat. Add salt and pepper to taste--a little cayenne if you like some kick. Done!
