Classic Farm Tour

Just what it sounds like, this is a great introduction to the benefits of real food and regenerative farming. Highly interactive and geared toward everyday eaters, we share with you why we switched from engineering to farming, and why this kind of farming has changed our health for the better forever! Plus you get to learn about the all-around benefits of raising meats and eggs on pasture in a rotational system. It's lots of fun--we get great feedback on this, our most popular tour, and a great tour to bring friends and family who need more real food in their lives.

Approximately 90-120 minutes of a good stout walk across East Texas hilly pasture terrain, please keep in mind that our tours are 100% walking tours and not a great fit for weaker walkers.

Length: 120 minutes / ½-mile walk + optional add-on tour (see below)

New for 2025!

There will be a short "add on" tour immediately following the Classic Tour at 10am. The tour will be comprised of two segments. Everyone will attend the first 90-minute portion with an introduction to what we do, plus a visit to our cows, laying hens, and meat chickens. Then we will drop off folks at headquarters who prefer not to do the second portion of the tour. This second portion is a longer, more rigorous walk and will add another 60 minutes or so to visit the pigs and bees. Weaker walkers or families with very young children may not enjoy this portion as much. It is optional and you don't have to decide until the moment we break off at headquarters! There is no additional charge for the extended tour. It's just our way of doing one big tour for everyone!

Suitable for kids? Yes, but for very small kids, plan to use a backpack carrier or a bicycle-wheel/off-road stroller in case they tire on the way back up the hill. Small-wheel wagons/strollers do not do well on our rough terrain. No charge for children ages 17 and under.
